Slip and Slide Fun

We had friends over to celebrate Memorial Day, and Jason bought a slip and slide. We didn't know how much fun it would be as adults, but it was surprisingly a great time! Both Jason and I are sore today!

Anniversary Pictures

Happy Anniversary, Jason!

Jason and I had a friend come out to the farm last week and take some pictures for our upcoming 10th anniversary. He took almost 600 pictures, and so many of them turned out nicely. Here are some of the cute pictures.

All the animals wanted to be in the pictures. Jack, the donkey, kept wanting to bite Matt's shirt. Eventually Jack worked his way into a couple of the pictures.

It was not planned to have the beagles in the picture. When we sat down to pose in front of the well, the dogs came and sat beside us. Buddy is not in the picture because he couldn't stop playing long enough to sit still.

Playing Trains

Jason bought a train set many years ago. It's been sitting in the barn for almost 5 years, but a couple of weeks ago he got it out and cleaned it up.

We set the track up around the living room for Charlie. He had a great time and loved the light on the front of the train.

Jason bought Charlie a hat, bandana, and whistle to go along with the train. Charlie played on the train until the battery died.

Springtime

It's springtime on the farm and everything is green and beautiful. We're praying for some rain so the grass will stay green. Otherwise, it's going to be a very dry summer!

Piggy Fun!

Charlie met the pigs today. He got in a couple of pets before the piggies started to scream.

They are growing so quickly! They are now getting around much better.

The babies are here!

The baby pigs have arrived! They were born on March 22.

The baby is so small compared to his mom, Ginny.

There are three babies in all; two boys and one girl.

They are good eaters. One of the boys and the girl fight over the same nipple. There are 14 nipples and only 3 pigs, so they just need to spread out!

Jason was there to see the pigs born and to make sure Ginny didn't lay or roll over on them. Now that the babies are walking, they can move to the back part of the barn where there's a heat lamp and a nice wood chip bed.

They are so cute!

Aggie Football

It's been a while since I've blogged, so here are some pictures of our adventures this fall. We went to a couple of Aggie football games and made it a point to take a few pictures.

Snow on the farm

It snowed a little in February, so I took some pictures of the farm before it all melted.

Ginny wasn't very excited about the snow. She stayed in her hay and had a good nap.
