Moving On

Moving On

We are beginning a new chapter of our lives in the next several weeks.  I am full of anticipation, excitement, and sadness as we leave Temple and settle down in the Georgetown area.  We are building a new house in a subdivision west of Georgetown to be closer to Austin for Sam's therapy needs.  Right now, the lot is empty.  The build begins in the next couple of weeks!  For now, we are moving to a rent house in Round Rock.  It will be a season of transition for our family, but we are looking forward to the new experiences!  New church, new friends, new house, and new school for Sam.  We are also looking forward to increasing Sam's speech therapy frequency to meet his increasing desire to communicate using his words.  I'm choosing to focus on all the wonderful experiences we will gain from moving rather than the home we are leaving behind.  I am sad to move away from the farm, but God's plan is bigger than my hold on a piece of land.

I plan to update our blog more often to chronicle our move and adjustment to this new step.  We'll see how it goes!
